In 2007, Padelnetwork developed the Circuit reserved for players who were not among the top 100 in Argentina, which they named El Ascenso (The Ascent ). Initially, it was in conjunction with the APP , the Professional Padel Association, which was later replaced in 2015 by the AJPP , the Professional Padel Players Association.
The Ascenso circuit is set to begin its 19th season in 2026 , and its tournaments have featured players who are now national and international stars. Do names like Di Nenno, Belluati, Restivo, Capra, Puppo, Chiostri, Dametto, Solenghi, Archieri, Mayerna, De Marco, Videla, Britos, Rivero, and Marchesani ring a bell? Well, there are many more. For example, Alex Chozas made his official debut on our circuit, but before him , Leonel "Tolito" Aguirre and Mati Gonzalez also played.
Also passing through El Ascenso were professionals who were or were at that time "back" from their careers and the names are frightening: Marcelo "Masa" Perez, Negro Juan Carlos Miranda, Mariano Gonzalez, Fabian Chozas, Diego Siro, Seba Montesi, Mariano Fischer, Cristian Cuzzilla, Ale Cortes, Adrian Daus, Aldo Raffe, Mariano and Leo Rincon, Nahuel Reyik, Marcelo Ibañez and the list goes on.
The 2025 season had the most tournaments (almost 70) thanks to the new four-tier segmentation (more info at this link ) and for 2026 we dream of even more growth.
One of the big news stories at the end of 2025 is the confirmation that NIU Padel will be the new official ball of the Padelnetwork AJPP/Ascenso Circuit during the 2026 season, adding this support to the one it was already giving to "the other leg" of the country's professional padel player factory: the APA Junior Selects .
NIU Padel becomes a sponsor of two key competitions and in our Padelnetwork.Shop we will have their entire product line: balls, accessories and padel rackets.
